Highland cattle will be moving to the Kingsnorth Conservation area (behind Furley Park School, bounded by Church Hill, Violet Way and Poppy Mead) on the 22nd October. There will be 5-7 cattle, mixture of steers (castrated males) and heifers. They all have impressive horns and have been grazing Ashford Warren, Singleton Community woodland and Hothfield, so are very used to people and their dogs. There will be an emergency number displayed, and the animals will be checked on a daily basis.
