KENT COUNTY COUNCIL
TALLY HO ROAD, KINGSNORTH
(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
TEMPORARY ORDER 2018

To allow drainage improvement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tally Ho Road, Kingsnorth, near Ashford.

A closure is planned from Monday 19 March 2018 for an estimated period of up to 5 days.

Tally Ho Road will be closed in the general vicinity of the junction with Magpie Hall Road.

Access to the remainder of Tally Ho Road continues from a Shadoxhurst direction up to where the road is actually closed, but there will be no through access during these works.

The alternative route is via Magpie Hall Road, Ashford Road and Hornash Lane.

Due to the nature of the works, the road will need to remain closed outside the working hours.

Access for any residents affected will be maintained when it is safe to do so, but there are likely to be delays and certain times when this is not possible for safety reasons.
